Are you ready to reveal a refreshed and radiant complexion? Transform dull, tired skin into a glowing complexion with a course of BioRePeel CL3 chemical peels. This is an extremely effective TCA peel that is suitable for most skin types. It is non-invasive, and relatively painless with little to no downtime.
BioRePeel CL3 is a two-phase formula:
Lipophilic Phase: This oil-based layer helps to protect the skin’s natural barrier, providing a moisturising and soothing effect.
Hydrophilic Phase: This water-based layer contains active ingredients like exfoliating acids (TCA, salicylic acid), amino acids, vitamins, and antioxidants that work to exfoliate and stimulate collagen production.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
01
What is BioRePeel?
BioRePeel improves the texture and appearance of the skin without the significant downtime or harsh side effects associated with traditional chemical peels. It is a two-phase, biostimulating, revitalising, and peeling treatment designed to treat a range of skin concerns such as skin ageing, oxidative damage from UV radiation, acne, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin texture.
03
Does your skin fall off?
There is often no peeling with BioRePeel. Your skin can feel tight and may be a little red for a couple of hours. There may be some light shedding of the skin in some areas. This normally occurs on days 2 to 4 if at all.
02
What are the benefits?
Immediate Glow: You will notice an immediate improvement in skin brightness and texture, with your skin looking more refreshed and rejuvenated. Progressive Results: Over the course of several days and weeks, your skin will continue to improve as the peel stimulates collagen production and promotes cell turnover. Minimal Side Effects: Unlike stronger peels, BioRePeel is designed to have minimal side effects such as peeling, redness, or irritation.
04
When will I see results & how long does it last?
Many of my clients see a noticeable difference in the texture and quality of their skin after one peel, however it is recommended to have a course of 4-6 every 7-12 days to get the best results.
MORE ABOUT BIOREPEEL CL3
BioRePeel contains a combination of exfoliating acids that work together to achieve its impressive skin-rejuvenating effects. These acids, primarily from the alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) and beta hydroxy acid (BHA) families, are responsible for the peel's exfoliation and biostimulating properties. Here's a closer look at the key acids in BioRePeel:
1. Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) – 35%
TCA is a strong exfoliant and the primary active ingredient in BioRePeel. It works by breaking the bonds between dead skin cells, allowing them to be shed more easily and promoting cell turnover.
Benefits of TCA:
-
Exfoliates the skin's outermost layer to reveal fresher, smoother skin beneath.
-
Stimulates collagen production, improving skin elasticity and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
-
Helps to reduce hyperpigmentation, acne scars, and sun damage.
The 35% concentration of TCA in BioRePeel is quite potent, but the formula is designed to minimize irritation and downtime, making it suitable for more frequent use compared to traditional TCA peels.
2. Salicylic Acid – 1.5%
Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) known for its oil-solubility, meaning it can penetrate the pores and remove excess oil and impurities.
Benefits of salicylic acid:
-
Helps to clear acne and prevent future breakouts by exfoliating inside the pores.
-
Reduces blackheads and whiteheads by dissolving dead skin cells and sebum that clog pores.
-
Has anti-inflammatory properties that calm irritated or acne-prone skin.
Salicylic acid is especially effective for individuals with oily or acne-prone skin, making BioRePeel a great option for those looking to treat acne and congested pores.
3. Lactic Acid – 10%
Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that provides gentle exfoliation while simultaneously hydrating the skin.
Benefits of lactic acid:
-
Helps in the gentle removal of dead skin cells, revealing brighter, smoother skin.
-
Promotes skin hydration by enhancing the skin's moisture-retaining abilities, which can make the skin appear plumper and more radiant.
-
Improves skin texture and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Lactic acid is one of the more gentle acids, making BioRePeel suitable for sensitive or dry skin types.
4. Citric Acid – 2%
Citric acid is another AHA that comes from citrus fruits. It serves as both an exfoliant and an antioxidant in BioRePeel.
Benefits of citric acid:
-
Gently exfoliates the skin, improving tone and texture by removing surface dead skin cells.
-
Brightens the complexion and helps to even out skin tone by reducing pigmentation and sunspots.
-
Acts as an antioxidant, protecting the skin from environmental damage caused by free radicals.
5. Glycolic Acid – 1%
Glycolic acid is a well-known AHA with the smallest molecular size, which allows it to penetrate deeply into the skin.
Benefits of glycolic acid:
-
Encourages deeper exfoliation, helping to remove dead skin cells and promote the growth of new, healthy skin.
-
Improves skin texture, reduces fine lines, and helps fade hyperpigmentation.
-
Boosts collagen production and stimulates skin cell turnover, leading to firmer, more youthful skin.
While the glycolic acid concentration is lower in BioRePeel (1%), its deep-penetrating effects complement the other acids to enhance the overall exfoliation process.
The Combined Action of Acids in BioRePeel:
The acids in BioRePeel work synergistically to exfoliate the skin and improve its overall appearance. The combination of TCA, salicylic acid, lactic acid, citric acid, and glycolic acid offers a multifaceted approach to skin rejuvenation by targeting multiple layers of the skin:
-
Superficial exfoliation: Lactic, citric, and glycolic acids focus on the upper layers, gently sloughing off dead cells and brightening the skin.
-
TCA penetrates more deeply to stimulate collagen production and address issues like wrinkles and pigmentation.Deeper exfoliation
-
Pore cleansing: Salicylic acid helps to clear out the pores, making it highly effective for acne-prone and oily skin.
This balanced combination makes BioRePeel suitable for various skin types and concerns, from acne and oiliness to ageing and pigmentation. Additionally, because the acids work in synergy, the peel offers the benefits of deep exfoliation without the harsh side effects often associated with stronger chemical peels.

-
Avoid shaving or waxing the treatment area within 24 hours of the peel treatment
-
Make sure you're well-hydrated, especially on the day of your treatment as this will help the skin’s healing process

Discontinue use of tanning beds at least two weeks prior to a chemical peel (and never use again!)

THE TREATMENT ITSELF
The treatment itself takes around 15 minutes. First I start by removing your makeup and cleansing the skin. Then I'll tone and degrease the skin, and apply a barrier cream to delicate areas - such as around the nose, corners of the eyes and in the cleft of the chin.
I'll neutralise the peel with a gauze soaked in water, and then follow with BioRePeel hydra serum and lift post treatment cream.
Aftercare
Use a broad spectrum suncream of SPF 50+ daily for at least a week after (it’s advised to wear this everyday regardless of whether a peel has been carried out to protect the skin from the sun’s UVA & UVB rays
Avoid sun exposure / direct sunlight completely. This can cause post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation as the skin begins to heals and even sunburn
Do not use AHAs, BHAs or retinols for 48 hours following a peel. Nourish the skin with a hydrating moisturiser
Avoid heat treatments including hot showers, baths & saunas, and take care when using a hairdryer to not target the treatment area. Do not exercise for 24 hours, or swim for 48 hours. Do not smoke for 24 hours
Avoid infection by:
-
Not picking, rubbing or touching the treatment area
-
Using fresh, clean pillowcases the following couple of nights
-
Do not wear make up for 24 hours
