At R.SKIN Aesthetics, I offer a range of advanced under-eye treatments to rejuvenate, revitalise and nourish this very delicate area.
Derma 2.0 Eye is designed to effectively target fluid-filled bags, fine lines, and wrinkles, draining excess fluid away and restoring a smoother, firmer appearance.
For a deeply rejuvenating boost, Derma 2.0 Bio provides bio-revitalisation via polynucleotides, hyaluronic acid, DMAE, argireline and a whole host of multi-vitamins to repair, revive and hydrate the under-eye area.
Lumi Eyes focuses on brightening and refreshing tired eyes, diminishing dark circles and leaving you with brighter and more rested looking eyes.
Under eye treatments
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
01
What are they?
Under eye treatments work to bio-revitalise, rejuvenate, brighten or drain the delicate under eye area. Delivered via small injections.
03
Do they hurt?
The under eye treatments are relatively painless because we apply numbing cream to the injection sites before hand.
02
What are the benefits?
Smoother, brighter, more hydrated and revitalised-looking skin, with fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and eye bags diminished.
04
When will I see results & how long does it last?
Most clients will notice an improvement in their skin a week or so after the first treatment, however it is advised to have the full course of 2-3 treatments for the optimum results. Derma 2.0 Eye is fast-acting, and draining can be noticed very soon after treatment. However, for longevity, a treatment plan should be carried out.

THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN DERMA 2.0 EYE, DERMA 2.0 BIO & LUMI EYES
1. DERMA 2.0 EYE - to drain fluid-filled eye bags
-
A powerful draining serum that is injected very superficially under the eye bag. It gets to work almost immediately, with results lasting around 9-12 months if a full treatment plan is followed...
-
Contains:
-
Artichoke extract helps to drain & flush away fluid build-up, emptying the bag
-
Caffeine to wake up your skin, boosting circulation and reducing puffiness
-
Escin (an extract from horse chestnut) to strengthen the walls of the blood vessels, allowing them to drain and send blood back to the heart - reducing dark circles caused by stagnant blood and puffiness
-
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) to stimulate collagen production to strengthen the tissue, and brighten
-
Vitamin A acting as an antioxidant to further protect the skin from environmental damage
-
Acetyl Hexapeptide-30 is a much less intense and topical version of botox working to reduce the strength of muscle contractions and therefore allow the skin to uncrease and relax, reducing lines and wrinkles. Completely safe and without the associated risks of the tox!
-
2. DERMA 2.0 BIO - to reduce lines, repair, strengthen, brighten & bio-revitalise
-
Contains:
-
3 MOLECULAR WEIGHTS OF HYALURONIC ACID 30mg/ml: High (a larger molecule) works at the epidermal level (outer layer of the skin) where it acts as a humectant and a hydrator. It is a film-forming compound that prevents the loss of water between the skins layers. Low molecular weight HA penetrates up to the dermis - a deeper layer of the skin - where it acts as a filler and stimulates the production of collagen collagen fibres. Medium molecular weight has a mix of both functions.
-
SODIUM DNA (Polynucleotides) 2%: stimulates cell turnover, collagen production, repairs and scavenges damaging free radicals
-
DMAE - a firming agent that stimulates the production of collagen and also strengthens the bonds between the existing collagen fibres to improves skin-resilience
-
ARGIRELINE to soften muscle contractions
-
GLUTATHIONE to brighten, tone and promote elasticity
-
11 AMINO ACIDS
-
VITAMINS:
-
Vitamin A Palmitate (Retinol) stimulates cell turnover, stimulates collagen production for a strong, compact outer layer of the skin
-
Vitamin E Acetate - an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory, elasticises, nourishes, repairs and regulates sebum
-
Vitamin B1 (thiamine) helps give energy to the cells
-
Vitamin B3 (niacinamide) - an anti-oxidant, moisturiser, sebum regulator
-
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) helps regulate the production of the skin
-
Vitamin B8 (biotin) regulates sebum and helps to produce keratin to ensure tissue health
-
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) an antioxidant
-
3. LUMI EYES - to brighten & bio-revitalise tired eyes
-
Contains polynucleotides 2%, derived from salmon DNA, to repair and rejuvenate the delicate skin under the eyes. Polynucleotides are powerful bioactive molecules that stimulate tissue regeneration, boost collagen production, and improve microcirculation. This helps reduce dark circles, fine lines, and puffiness, while enhancing hydration and skin elasticity for a brighter, smoother, and more youthful appearance. Lumi Eyes is particularly effective for clients seeking to refresh tired-looking eyes and restore a naturally radiant look.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
No specific preparation is needed for your under eye treatments treatment, however the following is advised:
-
Try not to take blood thinning medication or supplements such as aspirin and ibuprofen to prevent bruising and bleeding.
-
It's also a good idea not to drink alcohol for twenty-four hours before the procedure as this can also thin the blood.
-
Ensure you have had some food and are well hydrated before your appointment to avoid feeling light-headed if you are susceptible.
-
Come to your appointment makeup free!
THE TREATMENT ITSELF
The appointment will last around 45 minutes. When you arrive I'll immediately pop the numbing cream under your eyes. I'll then get you to fill out some forms and we can go over any questions you may have and the aftercare.
After 20 minutes I'll remove the numbing cream and clean and sterilise your face ready for injection. It takes around ten minutes for the procedure to be carried out. I'll then get you to sit up slowly, have a drink of water and go through any further info you might need. We'll also book in your next appointment if you are having the full course.
Aftercare
Refrain from touching or rubbing the treated area for at least 24 hours to minimise irritation or infection.
Drink plenty of water to aid in stimulating skin repair and hydration.
For 48 hours, avoid hot baths, saunas, sunbeds, and direct sun exposure to prevent swelling or redness. Use SPF 30+ if going outdoors.
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours as it may increase blood flow and swelling in the area.
Avoid applying makeup to the under-eye area for at least 24 hours to keep the skin clean and allow for optimal healing.
If mild swelling or discomfort occurs, gently apply a cool compress to soothe the area.
